We use Google Analytics to help analyse how visitors use the site. This tool uses  “cookies,” which are text files that it places on your computer. The cookies then collect standard Internet-log and visitor-behaviour information, in an anonymous form.

Then, the tool transmits the information that’s generated (including your IP address) to Google. From this information Google provides us with statistical reports about visitor flows and website activity.
