Ash Wednesday is on February 14.
We are planning the usual extra activities to re-vitalise our faith over the holy season, and in preparation for Easter.

Bishop Norman will be here on Saturday, February 17 for a Quiet Day. Do make every effort to come to this – especially if you haven’t been to one before. Bishop Norman will also be with us on Sunday, February 18.

The Men’s Breakfasts will be on Wednesdays during Lent, 07:30-08:30.
There will be a Lent group meeting at the Vicarage on Thursday mornings.
lt is possible to organise other groups at other times – it depends what you find convenient, and your willingness to attend. Look out for further details.

Charitable giving should also be a feature of a holy Lent. Time to start thinking about that, too.

The Eucharist in the Week: This is an important part of any parish’s Lent. Do look and see which one you might be able to attend, to pray, to reflect and to receive the life of the Lord, given in the Eucharist.
